Smilingjack's Looting System for use in 10-man Raids:
"Don't be a Greedy Bastard"
The Basics
Master Loot will be used throughout the Raids. Master Looter will tell you what you need to do to roll on any loot. Please only roll only if the item is an upgrade.
If no one wants an epic, it will be sharded and put into the guild bank. If there is no one in the raid able to shard, it will be sold and the money put in the GB. If it's a BOE epic, it will be put in the guild bank for guildies.
The Raid does not roll on shards or BOE that no one needs. The mats will be put into the guild bank for guild use.
The Roll
The piece of loot being rolled on, will be linked in a Raid warning.
You roll (/roll), ONLY /roll is considered a legit roll. All other rolls, and multiple rolls are not considered and can get you kicked from the raid.
That being said, if you have already won an item, chances are the person who hasn't won anything yet will get it. (some exceptions apply)
Anyone can pass on loot, but you don't get to say who it goes too. it automatically goes to the next highest roll.
Main Spec/Off Spec
In regards to Main spec and off spec. Main spec is what you came to the raid to do.

If you came in as a healer, your main spec is healing. |
If an item drops that no one wants, it may be rolled on for off spec (i.e. If no one wants a pair of leather melee dps gloves, they may be offered to a resto druid healer for their feral dps set)
Master Looter has final say in all things related to Loot
