re: IMPORTANT! Application Information!

Before you proceed to fill out an application form, there are a few things you should know:

Answering your application:
We feel that the effort you put into your application reflects on how you play the game, and so the more effort and the clearer that effort is, the more your application will be considered. Incomplete/lazy applications will be declined.

This is your first contact with our guild and first impressions always tend to last.

What we expect from you:

Gear/Experience: We are seeking skilled players. Cata raid experience is a MUST. For gear, ideal applicants will have mostly ilvl 346 or higher gear. We have been known to consider less geared and/or experienced applicants who submit strong applications.

Raid Prep: Applicants must have time between raids and be motivated to gather consumables, gold for repairs, research raid strategies and self-review/improve performance.

Maturity: We are seeking players with the same sense of dedication, players who want to find a home, to raid with us in Cataclysm. Applicants should have have a mature attitude. We don't tolerate drama.

Sense of Humour: While we can take our raiding seriously, we always try have a good time doing it.

Commitment: This means showing up ready to raid on raid nights, and notifying the guild when you will be absent. Up holding the Guild Charter and the Raiding Code.

Preparation: This means flasks, food, potions, reagents. This means enchanting and gemming your gear in a way that is optimal for your spec.

Mumble Yes, we do not use Ventrilo. More info in regards to Mumble can be found here. You must be able to listen to instructions, we're known for doing raid bosses a little differently than most guilds. Just because you know the fight doesn't mean you know how we do it.

We're looking for consistency from applicants. We want players who learn quickly, do not make the same mistake twice, multi-task extremely well, and are attentive to their surroundings. Players who are able to quickly grasp the bigger picture of a given encounter, rather than just their class-specific narrow role. If you are prone to standing in fires/void zones, unable to follow simple instructions, stop reading and seek elsewhere!

We do not accept or deny you based on your gear only, but you must have reasonable gear, and must have maximized its value through gemming and enchantments. We do expect applicants to be in the best possible gear and we want to see evidence that you understand what kind of gear is important for your class/spec, and you're willing to put in the time and effort to get the most out of the gear that's available to you (i.e. Badge gear, heroics, quests, etc...).

Your Responsibilities:
You must be familiar with the fights in Cataclysm. While our strategies don't necessarily match standard methods for killing bosses verbatim, you must be at least aware of what to expect on any fight you will encounter. A good site for getting familiar with these fights is Tank Spot.

Last but not least... if you can't stay connected, you can't raid with us. We already have way too many people who can't stay online >.>

Regarding server transfer applicants:
We welcome applications from players with characters on other servers who are interested in transferring to Feathermoon. However, you will not receive special treatment just because you transferred.

Closing:
If you still have questions about us, do not hesitate to contact one of our officers (Smilingjack, Irenke/Cynra, Lokaas, or Maedea) for further discussion.

Thanks for the interest, and for reading through all of this.

Also please check on your application frequently, as questions or instructions will be posted there.
