It has to be done in 25-Man. If we could grab 25 people so easily I'd have mine done ages ago.

Yeah I know.. that kinda irks me. Wonder if Santa Drax is going to be around this year again (or whatever his name was), might ask him for getting it completed, tho I'm sure it would come with the cost of the item box at the end, which is what I want more.

Lol, I know Tyin wanted to go back, we'll make sure we get 'em.

I definitely want to work on getting the icc and the ulduar drakes for the friday night runs. Malygos and OS3D are doable as well.

My concern with heroic 25-man Wrath of the Lich King instances is that they're actually easier at level than at 85 -- strictly from a healing perspective. This is due to the huge increase in the cost of heals once you hit 81 and also the introduction of the triage healing system. Icecrown Citadel in particular is fairly heavy in raid-wide AoE damage (splash, aura, and so forth), so it's very easy to run out of mana quickly and see a raid wipe.

I've seen it happen with 10-man heroic runs that had only two healers (which was often the raid composition back in the day!).

Stack a disproportionate number of healers and I'd be much more confident!

Doing it at 85, you DO still require roughly 20 people because of what Irenke said. It does become an issue, especially in Blood Wing+Frost Wing.

Of course, all this doesn't mean that we shouldn't do it. I'd think that it would be awesome to come back. I just want to make sure that the group has a chance of succeeding, so it requires a little more foresight.

Certaintly more than we'd normally give retro-raids.
