Assuming that we have mostly a group of regulars this weekend, we'll start at Firelands again. If things go well, we'll stick there for a while, down a boss, and hopefully see trash drops -- if not, we'll probably head back to Tier 11 content to snag some a tier piece or two.

Please make sure to review the Shannox fight prior to Saturday! You can also take the opportunity to look ahead and start learning future fights in our strategies subforum.

Please note: we will have a DPS slot open this weekend since Leygolas sucks and will be going to a concert instead. I'm looking for something with high single-target burst, especially with being able to break Rage Face.

On that note, Kraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaady, what's the likelihood of my being able to convince you to pick up an Elemental spec and learn how to play it specifically for that fight? I'd really like a second DPS capable of breaking that attack, especially if Leygolas is the recipient of that attack. If it requires farming for gear, let me know; I'll help you out with dungeon runs or something.

I already know how to play Elemental, I am a man of many talents afterall.
It's extremely simple in terms of gameplay and buttons to press just have to get used to the different key-bindings.

I also already have the spec and gear.
Most of it ain't enchanted but it's an off spec and don't get much use out of it.

Matty's main is/was an Elemental shaman; I've got a firm grasp (giggity, giggity) on the core concepts of the spec. Thanks for being flexible, Krad. With Leygolas out of the picture tomorrow night and no suitable high burst replacement Shannox would otherwise be very painful on Saturday. Or more painful!

If you need enhants or something, let me know. I'll see if I can work out a deal and use guild items/funds for most of it. ... on that note, I think that I forgot to stick a BoE or two into the bank... Bleh!

Gon, we'd love to have you! I hadn't quite found anyone else yet and it would be awesome to raid with you again. Just confirm for me that Koggz is more or less set for Firelands; it's been a while since I last grouped with your mage!

And your willingness to swap to a burst spec for me specifically for Shannox fills me with much happiness. One of the problems that we had last week was that our primary Face Rage breaker was left without support if he was the recipient. Plus it was hard to get him situated to immediately be able to reach every person in the raid -- as a healer, I know that pain well. And I think that, generally, base healing ranges are slightly higher than DPS (barring talents).
